I had a brief fling with sock knitting a few years back, and then got fed up with always having to make two. Well, I’m back to knitting socks. Turns out they really are quite fun, and I’ve gotten fast enough that making two isn’t the onerous challenge it used to be. So, behold! Socks:
And, they are on some brand-spanking-new sock blockers, hand made by yours truly out of some cute spring themed (or just spring colored) place mats I found at Target for $1.99. If that isn’t being thrifty, I don’t know what is – oh, wait, sock yarn is expensive … never mind. It was still fun!
