Decrease-free Octopus Hat

$3.00 ~ The giant Pacific Octopus, or Enteroctopus dofleini is the mascot of the Port Townsend Marine Science Center, and I have innumerable fish-gut-stained tee shirts featuring this beast.  They are fascinating animals, and I thought it only fitting that my first sea creature project should feature an octo, as we affectionately called them.

Six octopuses (yes, octopuses, not octopi!) decorate the hat, with waves below and swirling rain clouds above.  The hat is worked in a decrease-free tube, starting with a double-thick band and finished with an extra-warm 3-needle bindoff + tucking.  Full directions provided.

Once you have paid for the pattern, a PDF will be emailed (or snail mailed if no email address is provided) to you within 72 hours.
