As you may know, I worked as an AmeriCorps intern at the Port Townsend Marine Science Center just after graduating from college. It was an awesome place to be, and a major part of the job was working out in the aquarium, over the chilly waters of Puget Sound in a unheated building. Needless to say, it could get downright frigid at times! These patterns were inspired by my time in PT, and all the wonderful critters that I got to know while I was there.
