This hat was inspired by the Tim Tam cookies I discovered while studying abroad in Australia when I was in college. They are the prefect cold-day comfort food, especially if you indulge in a Tim Tam Slam – bite the ends off the chocolate-covered cookie, and then slurp your hot chocolate up through the delicious remainder. YUM.
We had a cold snap recently, and I discovered that all my hats were big, thick, wooly things, which would smash my hair flat for the rest of the day, even if I only wore them for a minute or so, to get to the bus. So, I designed this tam – warm (although it doesn’t cover your ears, so it’s not that warm), colorful, stylish, and – perhaps – delicious?
